As a responsible marketplace we have ensure that the contents of articles, pictures, videos on our site are not offensive to anyone, don't express political or religious views, aren't inappropriate in any shape or form and don't explicitly divert traffic away from our website (at the end of the day we also have to protect our business and message saying 'come to us directly for a discount' might harm us).
We also have a duty of care towards our visitors (your clients) - adventure activities carry certain element of risk and we, as much as we can, must make sure that these risks are addressed, so apart from doing the contents check, we also try to verify if every Activity Provider has applicable qualifications and appropriate liability insurance cover in place. We are aware that some activities generally don't require professional instructor certification (e.g., fly fishing) and we are constantly evaluating and updating the requirement list.
So, how does the vetting process work? It's very simple - each time you update your Provider Profile or description of any of your Activities, our Admin team will assess the contents and approve it (or might ask you to change something). Here's how it looks in the process flowchart
