OUTLINE ITINERARY 

DAY-01

ARRIVAL AT ISLAMABAD AIRPORT AND FLY TO SKARDU

Upon arrival at Skardu Airport, meet our representative shit in hotel. 

DAY-02-SKARDU -TO- ASKOLE.

 Embark jeeps for a full day ride on a winding jeep trail to Askole The last inhabitance on our way to the Great Glaciers. Highest in the region, the stone & timber abodes contain dark & narrow stairwells riven by gloomy, unlit alleys cluster within the embrace of the fertile terraces.

DAY-03. ASKOLI -TO- NAMLA (CAMP)

{Walk: 07-9 hrs } {Elevation 3670m} 

The trek starts from Askole in the early hours of the day. The destination for the day is Namla campsite, situated in a small meadow by the Biafo Glacier. The trek’s beginning is fairly straight alongside the roaring Braldu River. As you pass the Kiser Polo Ground, there is a steep ascent through the pass named Snum La and from the top you can caught the first glimpse of the mighty Biafo Glacier.

DAY-04. NAMLA TO SHAFONG (CAMP)

{Walk: 07-9 hrs } {Elevation 4000m}-Resume Trek early morning at 6:00am.

This day is very tough day of the trek. Your dream of finally trekking over Snow Lake is slowly becoming manifest. However, your destination is still far. Getting off of Biafo Glacier to reach the Shafong campsite is mostly tough. You have to get across the glacier’s many crevasses and climb on its steep side, laden with unstable boulders and scree. As you take off the glacier, a steep, almost vertical cliff will welcome you. After scaling the steep ascent, reach an absolutely heavenly campsite in an ablation valley, with lush green meadows and streams of ice-cold water running across it, which called Shafong Campsite.

DAY-5- SHAGAFON TO BIANTHA (CAMP)

This day is very easy and interesting day of the trek. {Walk: 02-4 hrs } {Elevation 4000m} Resume trek toward the nearby Baintha campsite, where you will pass through yet another stunning ablation valley, crossing small water bodies through lush electric-green meadows. View of Baintha Brak, Latok Group of Peaks etc 

DAY-06. 

Acclimatization day. 

This day is reserved for acclimatization. You have full day of rest, make shave, wash cloth, music, fun, photography and also enjoy Brbq

DAY-07. BIANTHA TO MARFOGORO

{Walk: 07-9 hrs } {Elevation 4400m} 

Resume trek towards Margogoro. Getting to the middle of the glacier is the hardest part of the day. Once you go on it, the walk is pretty straightforward. From there onward, there is no grass to be found, just snow, ice and rocks for the rest of the way. On Biafo highway, the glacier is lash with many deep crevasses, so you have to walk around in order to find a suitable place to cross or jump over the cracks in the glacier’s surface, so be careful and strictly follow your guide or group leader to avoid any untowards situation.

DAY-08-MARFOGORO TO KARFOGORO.

{Walk: 07-8 hrs } {Elevation 4600m} 

The trek on the glacier from Morogoro to Morogoro is relatively easy. You are trekking on ice with hardly any rocks visible. Karfogoro campsite is on the edge of a mountain. It is an amazing place because you could see the edge of the Snow Lake as it bends around a curve. You are close to Snow lake, as the next day the opportunity to trek on Snow Lake is finally arrived.

DAY-9-KARFOGORO TO HISPAR LA BASE CAMP

{Walk: 7-8 hrs }  After an early breakfast, resume a long walk on the Snow Lake.  Snow Lake is a glacial basin located at an altitude of 4,800m above sea level, with a width of approximately 16km. 

DAY-10-BASE CAMP TO HISPAR TOP

Early Morning resume trek to Hispar top which is almost 5128m Elevation. After 6-7hrs walk now you have reached your scenic wonder (Hispar Top), it is time to celebrate. The evening sun will cast its magical glow onto the mountain tops. View of Snow Lake will far more beautiful than what you imagined.  After celebration, photography and rest, resume trek back to base camp. Night stay base camp. 

DAY 11: BASE CAMP TO KARFOGORO

{Walk: 05-6 hrs } 

DAY 12: KARFOGORO TO MARFOGORO

DAY 13: MARFOGORO TO SHAFONG

{Walk: 6-7 hrs } 

DAY 14: SHAFONG TO NAMLA

DAY 15:  NAMLA TO ASKOLI

DAY 16: Drive to Skardu

DAY 17: Drop to Skardu Airport.
