The Ride Itinerary

  • The Backroads & Countryside: Leaving Hoi An, we skip the hectic main highways and dive straight into the scenic countryside. We’ll navigate quiet backroads around the rear of Da Nang, giving you a front-row seat to local rural life and stunning natural landscapes.
  • The Legendary Hai Van Pass: Next, we tackle the main event—the world-famous Hai Van Pass. Feel the thrill of carving through its iconic, sweeping bends as you climb high above the ocean, offering panoramic views of the coastline.
  • Beachside Lunch at Lang Co: Dropping down the northern side of the pass, we’ll head to the pristine shores of Lang Co. Here, we'll take a breather and enjoy a fresh, delicious local lunch right on the beach.
  • Conquering Monkey Mountain (Son Tra): After riding back over the pass via a completely different perspective, we head up the winding roads of Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain). Keep your eyes peeled—if we're lucky, we'll spot the rare, wild Red-shanked Douc Langurs that call this lush peak home.
  • The Coastal Cruise Home: We’ll wrap up an unforgettable day with a breezy, scenic cruise right along the coastline, tracing the beach all the way back into Hoi An as the afternoon light hits the water.

Riding Experience & License: Self-drive riders must have confident, proficient motorcycle handling skills and hold a valid motorcycle license. Unlicensed or inexperienced riders are restricted to joining as a pillion pas Age Limits & Helmet Fit: Self-drive riders must be at least 18 years old. For pillion passengers, there is no strict minimum age; however, the child must be physically large enough to safely sit behind a guide and fi Medical Conditions: This tour is not suitable for pregnant individuals, anyone with severe back, neck, or joint issues, or those with medical conditions that impair balance or reaction times.

🏍️ Rider Licensing & Passenger Policy

  • Self-Drive Riders: To operate a motorcycle on our tours, you must possess a valid, legal motorcycle driver's license from your home country alongside an International Driving Permit (IDP) that matches the displacement of the bike you are riding. It is your responsibility to carry these documents with you at all times during the tour.
  • Pillion Passengers (Non-Riders): If you do not hold a valid motorcycle license, or simply want to sit back and take in the views, you are welcome to join the tour as a pillion passenger riding on the back with our professional, highly experienced, and insured local staff drivers.

💰 Bike Security Deposit & Damage Policy

  • Security Deposit: A refundable bike security deposit is required per motorcycle prior to the tour departure. This can be left in cash (major currencies accepted) or sent by bank transfer.
  • Refunds & Deductions: The deposit will be refunded in full at the immediate conclusion of the tour, provided the motorcycle is returned in the same condition it was received. In the event of an accidental collision or vehicle damage due to improper use, the cost of parts and necessary repairs will be deducted directly from your security deposit.

🛡️ Medical & Travel Insurance

  • Mandatory Coverage: Our tour fees do not include personal medical, accident, or repatriation insurance. All participants—both self-drive riders and pillion passengers—must hold valid individual travel insurance that explicitly covers riding or traveling on motorcycles of the specific engine capacity used on the tour.

🌧️ Weather & Tour Operations

  • The Elements: Tours run rain or shine. We provide high-quality protective riding gear if the weather turns, but we do not offer refunds or cancellations due to weather conditions. If unsafe or extreme weather conditions make a route impassable, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary or adjust the route on the fly for the safety of the group.

🛑 Riding Conduct & Safety

  • Safety First: All participants must wear a high-quality helmet and standard protective safety gear provided by us at all times while the motorcycle is in motion.
  • Compliance: Riders are expected to use the motorcycle in accordance with safe driving practices and comply fully with local traffic laws. Any fines or penalties incurred from local traffic enforcement due to traffic violations are the sole financial responsibility of the rider.
